And my final story reel, i know that the story reel is low quality of art, but I think it is kinda funny and worthy of being posted.

Full Body Stop Motion

We were practicing stop motion character movement, and it is actually a lot of fun, a completely different way of animating, but still so much fun to do. This is my attempt at getting the whole body movement, and even a little bit of a step, my character is offering his hand in a dramatic fashion.

3D Walk Cycle

This is my first attempt at character animation on a 3D program, and I rather enjoyed it, I see a few things I would like to tweak up and will do so and try to post that one up, and I should also find out the proper way to export the file.

Caricatures and Sketches

Here are some Caricatures, and Sketches I've done of friends, teachers, people in the caff and doctors office, life drawing models, inatimate objects, aliens, myself as a crossdressing prostitute with a bowlingball up the skirt, and Eric Goldberg since starting school, ive compiled them all into a few pages so here they are.

Action Analysis

So one of the big assignments we are doing this year, is an action analysis assignment it mixes in animation, layout and even a bit of story. For my action analysis I wanted to have a baseball player swinging a bat.
First I have my concepts for layout, which would be a baseball field, thought I would have my player playing for the big leagues, so the field would have to look quite big and fancy.

Second is an idea I had for a pan but now am thinking of a different idea, which would work better I think

Third is my thumbnail for my animation, more or less what my character will be doing. And also some character poses in the bottom, to show more or less the characters final look.

New Character Designs

These are a few new Character Designs I've done for school so far.
First up is Lary, he is a 'special' monster, that enjoys urinating on people, he has crab hands, a pickeled body, and refuses to wear clothes.

Second is Chad and Amy they are a highschool couple, Chad is a non-stereotypical jock that plays for the football team, and only has eyes for his girl Amy, and Amy is a sweet cheerleader that has the heart of gold, and gets frightened easily.

Third is Burrito Man, he is an energetic Mexican dressed in a taco suit, to promote his business of Taco's and Burritos.

Fourth is Gary and Sock Girl, Gary is a 12 year old boy that has braces and head gear, thinks he is a super hero, and has a sock puppet for a girlfriend, Sock Girl is Garys girlfriend, she is very energetic, funny, loves Gary very much, and if you didn't know better you would think she were real to.

Fifth is Granny, she is Larys grandmother. She is a monster created by scientists, that were trying to splice the genes of an octopus with a slug, but a pickle fell in and Granny was born, she enjoys baking placenta chip cookies, watching her monster soaps, and knitting sweaters out of kittens.

Last is a concept design of Chads car, I figured it would be an old car with a few dents and scratches that his parents chipped in to buy him.

Joan Rivers

So here is my final post of summer vacation, I am heading back to school tomorrow, and here is Joan Rivers, who I saw get roasted today, and her face, well I just had to draw it :P

Steven Gerrard

This is a drawing I did for a friend, since he loves soccer and his favourite team is Liverpool, he wanted me to do a drawing of Gerrard taking a free kick, I was going to make this quite cartoony, but wasn't sure how I would approach the intense leg muscles of a soccer player in a cartoony fashion, so I tried it in this style, he liked it so i went along with it to this final, let you know I didnt free hand draw the Liverpool logo in the bottom left I traced it from a picture of it, but i did draw the ones on the jersey myself.

Taylor Swift

So I was going to start doing caricatures of people again, and I was going to start it off with Taylor Swift, and while trying to figure out how her facial features looked, this sketchy portrait started unveiling itself, so I decided to post it, I'll possibly post the caricature if it comes out half decent to, and I think I just might paint this but we'll see. I wanted to draw Taylor Swift in the first place cause she is so damn beautiful, and humble.

My Puppy Cujo

This is a digital painting I did of my dog Cujo, and I entered it in sketchaholics contest, where we had to draw something under the topic, 'Family Dog' this took me quite a while to do kinda lost track of the time since I started last night and finished today, and I did it on Alias Sketchbook pro.

Happy Baby Expressions

So I just started working on a few expressions from the character I created from my last post, I did a few quick and simple expressions; happy, mad, and a cute puppy dog face. I kinda like how I tried getting a bit of the body and shoulders into showing the expression, even though the actually facial expressions aren't pushed to far, but I feel like this characters face can only be pushed so far before it starts looking weird? Let me know what you think.

Happy Baby With Ducky Diapers

So I've been doing a lot of caricatures lately but I've been missing out on actual caracter design, in possing and expressions, so I decided to design a caracter first off, which I went with a baby in diapers, and I kinda like this design, so I'm just posting the design, and I'm going to get started on some expressions, and poses soon, and if I like the result of them I'll post them up. I just changed the head of this character and made it look a lot better, in my opinion. Just noticed a while after posting this that it very much a more detailed better looking version of the kid character I used for my walk animation.

No Pants Memory Sketch

I was watching AFV the other night, and one of the videos was of a man feeding ducks, when one of the ducks pulls his pants down, the man stumbles to pull them back up, and I was inspired to do this piece based on it.

Married With Children

The other day I started thinking of all the shows I grew up with and without a doubt one of the funniest shows I grew up watching was Married With Children, I tried doing a caricature of Al a while back but wasn't pleased with the results, so I tried something again, with Al in his famous pose, with one hand down his pants haha. and Peggy by his side yapping away. I used a piece of a picture of the couch in this drawing as a background for the flower detail on the couch, but drew the couch myself.

John Cleese

I also did a caricature of just his face which was a lot easier to clean up. I must say it again Monty Python are by far the best comedy sketch team I've ever seen and will ever see.

The Ministry of Silly Walks

I was watching Monty Python the other day, and 3 days later after I stopped laughing I started working on John Cleese my favourite character of them all, one of my favourite sketches from his has to be The Ministry of Silly Walks, where he walks very very silly.

Nachooo Libre

I drew this a while ago, after watching a bit of Nacho Libre with Jack Black, and saw this one expression he did which was quite hillarious, but kinda forgot exactly how it looked the next day when drawing him, but I still kinda liked the caricaturization I did of him here.

Satellite Repair Man

This is a friends uncle, his mother wanted me to do a cartoon, of him carying a satellite dish on his back this is a birthday gift for him, I decided to add other stuff like the remote in his mouth and the receiver in his other hand and a wire sort of wrapping around him, gave him a cap of his favourite soccer team, added some colour, and now here we are.

Hit Girl

Another digital painting, this time of Hit Girl, I really enjoyed this movie, and liked the characters even more. Hit Girl was so bad ass in this film. This painting took me about 4-5 hours to complete, I did it on Alias Sketchbook Pro.

Kick Ass

It was a few days ago that I saw the film Kick Ass, and the title itself describes how awesome it was, right away I knew I was going to do a digital painting of the character 'Kick Ass', and it has been a while since I've taken the time to do an actual digital painting, the last big one was the Joker I did about 2 years ago, I'm not counting the JFK one cause I didnt spend much time on it. Anyways this painting took me about 3-4 hours to complete, I did it on Alias Sketchbook Pro, because I'm photoshop handicap, and I am quite pleased with the results.

I decided to do caricatures of the guys from the Flight of the Conchords after catching a couple of episodes, that seemed to go on and on all night. This is Jemaine Clement.

So I was watching some music videos and lights came on, and she is pretty damn hot, so I tried doing a caricature of her.

Requested Piece

Yesterday as I was about to go to bed, I was messaged from someone I didn't know on facebook, asking if I would do a drawing of him and his girlfriend, I agreed to it, so I started working on it today and finished it up. As a result I found them rather hard to draw, cause I'm use to picking out the people I do caricatures of, and I try and pick people that would be fairly easy to caricature, but this time I was given who to caricature, and don't think I did to good of a job, cause they were both normal looking, which was quite a challenge.

I thought I would do a caricature of JFK since he was quite a character, with an amazing voice, I could probably listen to him speak for hours.

So I did this drawing a while back when working on the caricature for my friends birthday, I decided to do it on paper and give it to him, so this was the result, and only got around to scanning it today.

The Italian Stallion

So for the longest time now, I've wanted to draw Rocky Balboa and finally I got around to it, im kinda happy with it. I'm tempted to make a digital painting of him, so i might do that from this caricature or do a new one.

Brian Regan

So I mannaged to catch Brian Regans comedy special on last night, and couldn't stop myself from laughing, so I had to do a caricature of him and one of his amazing facial expressions. Looking at the caricature I did of him, I'm having trouble deciding if I love it or hate it, cause in one hand I pushed features out of my normal element of drawing, but on the other hand it doesnt look like him to much. I'll let you decide.

Larry King Live

Larry King is soon retiring so I did a caricature of him to commemorate his time on tv, which I believe stands as the record for longest show to stay on the air with the same host, or something like that. Anyways here it is Larry Kings caricature.

So I was walking my dog to the park today, and along the way I saw a man standing on the street with a hard hat on, surely fixing up the place that was under construction, but he was just standing there even after i went back home and back cause i forgot a bag, he was just standing there pretending to work glancing over at me and my dog, I just had to draw him

Last of the 3 characters from Reno 911 that I've done, ill do more of them when I can, then maybe put them all together and colour them. But anyways this is my favourite of the characters to draw she is a caricature in herself and i think i captured her pretty well.

The second of three of the Reno 911 characters I've done so far, im kinda pleased with how this one turned out, cause this pose strikes the characters personality very well, but it could still use some touch ups.

I caught the end of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and on was Ellen Page surely promoting inception, and while watching her i thought to myself, 'i want to draw her!' and so i did, and also noticed last night, how much she resembles Nicole Kozak from school. Which makes sense cause they are both awesome.
