Run Walk Animation

This is what i handed in today, its a lot less then what i originally intended to get done, and im not to happy with the animation either, im hoping to get better quickly so i can actually get something decent in my demo reel.

Dad Run Cycle

This is my dad run cycle, im not to happy with it but it will do, im not done all my extra animation, and ive got to get workin on it if i want to get it all done before thursday... i still want to animate the kid reacting to the dad tapping his shoes and saying his name, then having the kid turn around saying 'what', have the dad point at a wall, show a layout of crayon marks all over a wall, then the kid running away, add voices for the dad and son, maybe some sound efx, and maybe even have the dad catch the son and, have the kid walk back to the wall upset to go clean it up, if i dont get all that done for the actuall assignment, ill probably do it during winter break for possible demo real matterial..

So here is my cleaned up walk cycle, it generally turned out alright, i went in and fixed up a couple of areas, let me know what you think! stay tuned for the whole thing on thursday!

Story Character

My story characters, ill probably upload my story beats by the end of the night, my class got, 'i need this' as what we had to base our story off of, so i have them at the beach, the boy is making a sandcastle, realizes he needs a flag to make it perfect, so he goes look for one, when he walks by this nerdy girl which has a flag, she tempts to give him the flag if he gives her a big kiss, the kid is disguted, so while she goes in for the kiss, he will push her down take the flag, then run away to complete his castle. or something along those lines.

My new characters for the run and walk assignment, i kinda like 2 drawing out of all of these, ill probably touch up the character for when i actually animate it

Wave Boat Flour Sack

This is my wave boat flour sack assignment, i think it turned out pretty good, but still could have been way better, looking forward to the weight lift and toss assignment


This is the character im going to be using for my weight lift and toss animation, i may not animate the elephant for the actual animation but thats yet to be decided

First Post of Second Year

Fist is my character lineup for the story beat assignment, the quality isnt so good since i scanned the original then printed it out, then scanned it again.


Secondly is my storybeats it took me a while to do this assignment since my peers kept shooting down all my ideas, i then came up with this idea, which few didnt like until they saw it drawn out, and Nacy seemed to like it to some extent, other then the first panel for the placement of the bear, and the last pannel as to quote Nacy, "it looks as if the bear has got exploding diarrhea," haha, she is awesome.


Thirdly ive got my rough Painting idea, pretty much step for step as to what i did.


An Edit on my rouch colour test, Mike told me to keep the colous more like the tonals, and to change the 'grassy' area to a cooler colour so i figured that this would do...
